For some time we have been wanting to do more to strengthen the marriages of many of the people coming to the Healing House. While we have the MEOW (Marriage Enrichment Oneness Weekend) Seminar, there as been a clear need for a more focused, more readily available, form of marriage help. So all of the teams associated with PHW are excitedly working together to finalize a PHW Marriage Strengthening Clinic, focused around the specific kinds of information and skills that a couple may need.

We will make the Clinic available in several formats. In one format, a couple who has received ministry at the Healing House can stay an extra day (usually Saturday) and, with the same ministry team, focus on the particular weak areas of their relationship. This will allow the ministry team to zero in on the individual's problem/ministry areas during the week, and save the relationship issues for the Clinic time.

In addition to the one day format, we will also offer a fifteen hour Clinic, that can be attended either privately by the couple, or shared by several other couples.

Weak areas needing help might include understanding God's purpose for marriage, oneness, communication skills, conflict resolution, sexual intimacy, financial management, and parenting skills, just to name a few.

For many years, the Lord has been speaking to us about His intense desire for our wholeness: BODY, SOUL and SPIRIT. But as you know, He has had us focused on healing of the soul and spirit. Even so, the healing of the soul /spirit has frequently cleared the way for awesome physical healings, both in the Healing House and in seminars.

We have felt within ourselves the Lord's strong desire to heal our physical bodies. He wants to heal us supernaturally, and He wants us healed naturally, as we follow the natural laws that lead to health.

His promises for healing, freedom, and wholeness are not for "just" the body, or "just" the soul, or "just" the spirit, but for the totality of our being. Particularly during these crucial times, He wants all of our energies freed up and available for ourselves and for Him.

So, Christian International and PHW are co-sponsoring a special time to bring you fresh manna of revelation about healing, opportunities to receive body, soul and spirit healing, and special times to pray for each other's healing.

Dear Chester and Betsy,

I want to share a huge testimony with you, or at least, one big in my eyes, regarding my husband and I.

A couple of months ago, I was at my wit's end with our relationship, finances, and in general, my life. I had started reading your book Restoring the Foundations, but I still just wanted to pack my bags and run, with no destination in mind.

I told my pastor that we needed help, and that we wanted to be held accountable to him for a while, until we could get a handle on things. As he met with us weekly, I continued reading the book, doing the exercises, and reading the scriptures. I kept reaching for the things God spoke to me about. Finally, I knew I had to let go of my anger, particularly toward my husband. But I wanted to hang on to it. It was justified, of course!

So God sent someone into the office, who was very upset with someone else. Of course, I was the only one in the office at that time so I had to deal with this lady. How could I give her Godly assistance, and not walk it out myself? I couldn't!! Doesn't God have a "wonderful" sense of humor? So I took her into the conference room, and we both prayed a prayer of forgiveness. And the rest is history as they say.

God has changed me soooooo much. The more that I allow Him to change me, the more confident I become about myself and my relationship with God. I have developed a new boldness, such that I am not afraid to talk to people and share with them the goodness of God, and how he heals. I have a ways to go before I am really more effective in helping people but that is my heart, and my husband's heart. We desire to help people who are hurting.

Then last Sunday night, while we were in the restaurant, during the Activation Seminar, there was another divine appointment. You two were again involved. We were sitting all alone, with groups of other people from the seminar all around us. Chester, you were very gracious to invite us to come and sit with you and the pastors. In the past, because of the fear of man, my husband would have said "Yes" without even asking me. It wouldn't have mattered that we had purposed to spend time just with each other. Other people had always come first. He was always trying to please them, so they would think well of him and not reject him.

Who would not want to sit with the special speakers and pastors? What an honor and privilege to have even been asked. But this time was different. He didn't even bat-an-eye at the opportunity to please someone else instead of me. He was fine just being with me. I felt he passed this test with flying colors.

I thank God for using you two as the instruments of His testing. You were very gracious and very understanding. We serve a mighty God who indeed loves us very much.
