We are "winging" our way back over the northern Pacific after a three week trip to Japan and Korea. We are completing our third overseas trip in the last eight months, having gone to Siberia, Russia, last August, and to South Africa in November.
These trips have been a wonderful opportunity to continue to spread the Good News about the Healing and Freedom that we have in Jesus Christ, and how to receive it.
It is impossible to share in a few words all that has taken place in these three trips, or for that matter, the many other events of the last eight months. In one sense, we have just continued to do what God has had us doing: teaching, demonstrating, praying (for people attending our meetings), ministry, training ministry teams, and training trainers of ministry teams.
In another sense, every activity is new, because God is always fresh and new, as He touches people's lives and brings wholeness. The power of the Integrated Approach to Ministry continues to be demonstrated, as we minister to the four intertwined problem areas of Sins of the Father and Resulting Curses, Ungodly Beliefs, Soul/Spirit Hurts, and Demonic Oppression. The presence of the Holy Spirit in the seminars is very sweet and peaceful, yet powerful, manifesting in major healings and deliverances. The testimonies people share are simply amazing, and encouraging to all of us.
During our three week trip to Siberia, we taught seven hours a day for twelve days in a Ministry School at New Covenant Church in Novosibirsk. We ministered to cell group leaders, future pastors, and to some of the church staff. All of the students were given a copy of Restoring the Foundations (RTF), which had been translated into Russian. "Thank you Ministry School staff for your dedicated and professional work in translating all of the teaching material, as well as RTF." It was a very special, bonding time with these precious people in central Siberia. God is laying the foundation for a major underground church to spring forth in the future, as religious oppression again returns to this land.

South Africa was a different experience. It felt like a "birthing," a "full-term" birthing, and thus easy. Senior Pastors Sam and Eileen Stack, and Associate/ Ministry Pastors Michel and Lindsey Lefebure, had done the ground work. We stepped into a well-prepared situation. Only problem was that over 400 people showed up for the initial seminar rather than the 50-100 expected/hoped for.
We found the people ready and expectant, and God didn't disappoint them. The deliverance from Demonic Oppression was particularly fun, as we laid our hands on people, prayed in the Spirit for a few seconds, and watched major manifestations as people were set free of witchcraft and other occult spirits. There was much celebration.
We were also able to participate in a week-long Prophetic Conference with Bishop Bill Hamon, Scott and Kathy Webster, and other Christian International ministers. A high point for us was an afternoon workshop we did on Restoring the Foundations in the area of finances. Around 400 people attended for teaching and group ministry. We finished the meeting at four PM, but ministered another two hours to individuals. We believe that much money was released to God's people. The testimonies we received during the next two weeks certainly seemed to confirm the power of the freedom that occurred.
We spent our final week in South Africa ministry and training. What a joy and satisfaction to add to the work Pastor Lindsey had already accomplished, and to enjoy a wonderful new friendship.
We all agreed for New Life Church to represent CI/PHW in Africa. We will work together to further establish their church ministry program, followed by a regional Healing House. They will be a production and distribution center for PHW resources, particularly for RTF.
We are planning to return in August of this year to complete the Lefebure's training as RTF seminar leaders, as we conduct several meetings together in South Africa. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with New Life Church as we spread RTFM throughout Africa.
And now, Japan and Korea have received Restoring the Foundations ministry (RTFM), and we have received Japan and Korea. Missionaries/Pastors Ron and Teddy Sawka, CI Asia, had invited us to bring RTFM to Asia. We did the same procedure, but in two new cultures. This time, we equipped national pastors and leaders. In Korea, God also exposed a couple of major principalities over the nation. Major repentance and healing of the nation's wounds occurred, with the declaration that the dividing wall between North and South Korea was coming down.
We also trained Teddy as a trainer of RTFM, so that she could continue to reproduce more ministry teams. She and Ron had completed the ministry training, and have counseled many people in Japan. We look forward to working with them in the years to come.
Back home, in the good old USA, our able co-workers have been keeping things going, and going well. We are ministry to more Christian leaders, and training more ministry teams, than ever before. More churches are catching the vision of providing in-depth healing for the saints. The fruit of RTFM in so many lives is causing others to want the same.
One statistic that is indicative of this growth is the number of people coming to the CI/PHW Healing House here in Florida for the one-week intensive ministry. In `94, from May on, 12 people came. The next year, about 100 people came. In `96, we ministered to about 200 people, and last year, over 400 people came. We don't expect another doubling this year (at least we hope not!), but we are excited about the number of people that God is allowing us to minister to. As other Healing Houses are raised up, there will be less need for people to come to the Healing House in Florida.

It is with great sadness that we announce to you the death of a much loved co-worker in an automobile accident on Sunday, March 1st, 1998.
Jan Wallens,
besides being an adoring wife and a mother with great vision for her children, was a very
able minister of the Gospel.
Jan has been a very significant part of the development of the CI/PHW Healing House ministry. She is one of the reasons it is known as a place where real healing takes place. Teaming up over the last three years with Dorathy Ferguson, Martha Lucia, or Lois Blanchard, Jan has brought God's healing and freedom to scores of women. Besides being a dynamo of mercy, Jan has been like a patient midwife, birthing in her ministry receivers the prophetic pictures and words the Lord has shown her about them. With determination, she would speak the word of the Lord until the new life, the new hope, the new sense of purpose and destiny, was fully birthed in them; until an alive birthing of God's word had taken place.
Jan, in a special way, has known, and boldly demonstrated through her ministry, our God-given authority over all the power of the enemy. This is something that SHE KNEW THAT SHE KNEW. Sometimes, it was authority over sickness, as when she prayed for a brain tumor and the woman was healed. Sometimes, as when she helped us teach a seminar in Fort Walton Beach in January, 1998, the authority was over the enemy's strategy to keep the church in bondage. As we prayed together based on Jan's revelation of a serpent spirit, several individuals, in addition to the pastors, saw a vision of the snake's head being cut off. Jan was not desiring to take any credit; she just wanted to see the Lord's purposes for the seminar and for that church be accomplished.
Last November, when Jan was the keynote speaker at a conference in the Ivory Coast, West Africa, she demonstrated our God-given authority over demonic forces for all to see. She was already at the podium, when a commonly experienced phenomenon broke out. Several people, manifesting the power of the demonic, were brought to the front of the church where they thrashed around on the floor, until several leaders wrapped each one tightly in a sheet and stood over them, to try to control them. All eyes were fixed on Jan as she left the podium and one by one, addressed each demonized person, binding the disruptive manifestations in the name of Jesus. The thrashing and noises immediately stopped. An awed hush fell over the audience, many of whom saw for the first time that the authority God has given us is real. It works. Praise the Lord for the wonderful video footage, allowing us to share this powerful moment of her ministry.
Through her recently published book Warfare Prayer for Prayer Warriors, Jan's ministry will continue to strengthen and equip the larger Body of Christ. Jan had God's theme and she had His divine timing. Her book will open the spiritual eyes of many, who through warfare prayer, will take back what the enemy has stolen in many areas of their lives. In February, at a seminar in Chesapeake, Virginia, we completely sold out all of Jan's book that we had taken, and came home with orders for twenty-two more. We have already received testimonies by E-Mail about victories that are being won in prayer. We were able to share this with Jan the Thursday before her death. She was excited about the fruit coming from people's use of her book.
We are grateful to the Lord that Jan has been such a rich part of our lives and ministry. Jan, as a Godly woman, as a loving friend, as a tireless minister, and as a powerful minister of the gospel, has greatly impacted our lives.
Jan's life and her ministry will be greatly missed.

Attending an Activation Seminar is the first step in the training process to become a Restoring the Foundations minister (RTFM). The purpose is for each participant to have an opportunity to experience ministering the Restoring the Foundations integrated approach, and to gain confidence, as he practices under the supervision of a trained leader.
The seminar leaders for 1998 will be Mike and Michele Green, full-time Healing House ministers and trainers with PHW. They will review and demonstrate each ministry concept, as well as oversee the small group practice sessions. Of course, even though we will be "practicing," the Holy Spirit never practices. The healing that people receive in the Activation seminars is real, and the confidence gained is tremendous.
The first seminar will be held the weekend of June 27-29. The second one will be held October 24-26, in conjunction with the CI International Gathering of the Prophets Conference. Both seminars will be conducted at Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.
The registration cost for the seminar is $150 per individual. The cut off date for registration is three weeks before the starting date. Please call the PHW office (850- 835-4060) for further details and for application forms. All attendees must have the approval of their pastors or spiritual oversight.
We are planning to host another Advanced Conference this October, just before the Christian International annual gathering of the prophets, which will be October 20-23th. We are wanting to make it easy for you to attend both events with one trip.
The Advanced Conference will be held October 16-17th, Friday and Saturday, at the CI International Training Center. We are still working out details, which we will publish in our next newsletter. Please contact the office if you have any questons.

These were just a few of the very favorable comments that followed the last MEOW. We were blessed and excited as we saw marriages change right before our eyes, as God loosed the bondages and touched people's hearts.
The next MEOW (Marriage Enrichment Oneness Weekend) will be May, 22nd to 24th, under the leadership of Tommy and Pat James, a full-time ministry/training team with PHW. It will be held at the lovely retreat center, Times of Refreshing, near Defuniak Springs, Florida. This is where we held the first MEOW last February.
While the revelation of Restoring the Foundations ministry (RTFM) will undergird the weekend, relational issues hindering God's desire and promise of a Oneness Marriage will be the main focus. Teaching and ministry times will be alternated with times for couples to be alone, to rest, and to relax and smile at each other, as well as make new friends. It is a special opportunity for couples in leadership, who are so pressed by responsibilities, to get out of the daily routine and have fun and a change of pace.
Please note, the MEOW weekend is NOT FOR COUPLES having difficulty, in crisis, nor on the brink of separation. In these cases, the CI/PHW Healing House is recommended as the place to go. Please don't apply for the MEOW unless your marriage is "purring" along just fine, and you are looking for more "purr."

After some prompting from the Holy Spirit, Betsy has written about her life, including the pain associated with being an illegitimate and adopted child.
Actually, this book is about much more than just the issues around adoption, although these are certainly evident. This book is the story of God healing Betsy, using ways she didn't even know existed, and bringing her gradually out of her brokenness and failures into the plan and purpose that He had always had for her. This book is about the healing of paralyzing fears, the issues of always feeling like an outsider even when she was a leader, of discovering that out of her hurts, she was a fierce controller. It is the story of a very Presbyterian young woman discovering that demons are real. It is about Betsy's deep yearning to serve God, her small steps of faith, and her utter delight in His orchestration of her life.
As Bishop Hamon expressed in his foreword to the book,
"You will be blessed and enlightened as you read this book. It will cause you to laugh and to cry. It will cause you to contemplate and meditate on God's goodness and faithfulness."

Both men and women have blamed Betsy for a sleepless night, saying, "Once I started, I just couldn't put it down." While Betsy doesn't really want to cause people to lose sleep, it is encouraging to her to feel that her story is touching people at a deep level.

Those of you that attended the June 1996 Advanced Conference will remember the very special time that we had with each other and with the Lord. Well, we are excited and pleased to announce that the tape series from that conference is now available, thanks to the able editing of Mike Green. (Thanks, Mike.) When the editing was completed, we had six 90 minute tapes filled with high quality, advanced RTFM material.
These tapes contain the rich teaching, demonstrations (one live session to Soul/Spirit Hurts), and some of the group ministry time. We included all of the collective revelation that God has given to the leaders of a number of RTFM programs, as well as to PHW teams.
The flow of the conference included teachings and ministry on how to strengthen, increase, expand, and broaden all aspects of RTFM, from the individual, team, church, and networking points of view. While we don't have space here to go through all that is on the tapes, we want to give you some representative topics.
We started with a broad stroke, with topics to help everyone improve their Environment for Victorious Ministry. Then we focused on Additional Considerations for each one of the four problem/ministry areas. To name just a few of the many presentations, subjects were covered such as: How to address the Geographical/Cultural/ Regional curses, How to minister to Ungodly Beliefs and False Identity more effectively, Mining the Riches of Revelation (Going Deeper in SSH), and Ministry to Manhood (and Womanhood) Issues.
Chester stimulated everyone's thinking about God's computer programming ability, with his presentation on the "If Then Else God," a different way to look at the many conditional promises in the Bible.
We believe that all RTFM programs could help their ministry teams continue to gain in skill and understanding through the information and anointing captured on these tapes, as well as benefiting by incorporating at least some of the shared revelations into their RTF ministry programs.
