Establishing a Church
Restoring the Foundations Ministry Program
This page is for the pastor of a local church that is considering establishing a church
Restoring the Foundations Ministry (RTFM) program. We want to
share with you things to be aware of and some ways that we can help you.

Like a Family
Establishing a ministry program is a lot like establishing a family. It is built upon
relationships, and they must be maintained and worked on in order for the program to be
fully what God desires. Thus, to complete the establishment of a self-sufficient,
self-reproducing, self-maintaining ministry program, a few years of building is
usually necessary, with yearly training periods and bi-monthly visits by a training team
for oversight and advanced training of the ministry teams. Thus, it is important to know
that God is speaking to you, and that your heart really is directed toward this type of a
program. Once this point is passed, the ministry program becomes just another department
of the church, there to serve the people, and to help them move ahead in God's Sanctification
process.

Ways to Help
We have three key ingredients that can be used to help establish a RTFM program:
- Seminars: As we conduct seminars, churches can have
their leadership and ministry teams receive intensive teaching, training, demonstration,
group ministry, activation, and impartation within a short time.
- Training: God is sending quality people, both couples
and singles, with like heart and similar vision, to join this ministry. We have trained
and prepared these teams to minister to leadership within the Body of Christ, to train
RTF ministry teams, to train trainers of RTF ministry teams, and to establish
ministry programs within the local church. This includes ministry and training
teams, helping to raise up a local oversight team, holding periodic meetings
with the church RTF teams, and being available for ongoing oversight of and
consulting with the resident oversight team.
- Resources: The resources that we have produced, and are
producing, can be a major assist in the establishing of the church RTFM program.

Levels of Involvement
It is a major commitment to establish a Restoring the Foundations Ministry (RTFM) program. It is similar to creating a new department in your
church. But you can accomplish it if you can commit just one to three percent of your
church budget to the RTFM program. Proclaiming His Word offers three levels of
involvement, with different degrees of interaction and funding, to match each church
situation. We will join with you to prayerfully consider which level best fits for your
church.
- Level One: Providing and Imparting
Your church may partake of our resources and/or attend and send
teams to the various seminars that we offer: RTF
Healing/Deliverance, RTF
Activation, Advanced, and Training/Teacher
seminars. You can send teams to the CI/PHW Healing House, both for
ministry and for training. You can use
your local church leadership to oversee and to raise up the ministry teams, an oversight
team, and to orchestrate their development.
- Level Two: Assisting and Equipping
Proclaiming His Word can come to your church to conduct an Restoring
the Foundations Healing/Deliverance Seminar. This will
benefit you and your people, as well as the surrounding region. Your people will become
acquainted with God's desire for their freedom and healing, the way(s) that He has
provided for us to receive it, and they will experience some degree of freedom and healing
(some a little, some a lot) during the ministry time.
The next step would be to conduct an Restoring
the Foundations Activation
Seminar for a smaller group, focusing on the church leadership, cell
group leaders, care group leaders,
and the prospective ministry teams.
Following the seminar, a ministry/training team would come to your church and counsel
the lead ministry team (the likely oversight team), and train them as they counsel other potential teams
and/or leadership within the church. Depending on the model of training you choose, it can
take from one to three weeks to train one team. However, using a "rotation"
model, three teams can be trained in three weeks if each team can be involved full time in
the training for one of the three weeks. Much depends on how easily all those involved can
coordinate their schedules.
Local church leadership would then be responsible to oversee the development of the
ministry program. If you desire, we can have a team revisit you occasionally, to provide
further teaching on selected topics (i.e., ministering to people coming out of the
occult/witchcraft, out of homosexuality, out of false identity, etc.), and/or to "sit
in" with your teams while they are ministry to provide additional fine tuning of
their ministry skills.
- Level Three: Building and Establishing
This level requires the most commitment by you and by us. We would enter into an agreement
with you to be responsible for the oversight of developing a ministry program within
your church. We, and the teams working with us, would become a temporary
(two to three years), part time, department of your church. Besides all of the activities discussed
above (in Levels One and Two), we would continue with periodic visits to supervise, impart
additional teaching and training, and to initiate the multiplication of new teams. We
would eventually focus on training new teams and maturing them, on training experienced
teams to become trainers, and on training an oversight team. We would do all of this with
close coordination and submission to you and the vision of the church. Our goal would be
to support you as you lead your congregation in becoming healed, matured, equipped, and
fruitful. Most of all, to help them establish a closer and closer relationship with the
Lord.
