The New RTF International Training Center at Echo Mountain Inn
First Training Modules and Conferences
Being a Partner
December 3, 2004
Dear Friends,
Well, to say, “It’s been an exciting year,” is an understatement! As many of you know, on July 7th we miraculously were able to purchase a 108-year-old English Bed and Breakfast Inn in Hendersonville, NC. We purchased this facility to be the new Restoring the Foundations International Training Center (ITC). This was the culmination of over 12 years of prophecy concerning an eventual training center.
Restoring the
Foundations International Training Center at Echo Mountain Inn
It’s a joy to have such a lovely and historic facility. The main Inn has 22
guest rooms, plus living room and library, sun porch, fireside lounge, large
classroom, and dinning room (It can seat about 120). Its stone and wood
construction plus many antiques make it a delight to be in. You can often smell
the aroma of wood smoke since nine of the rooms have usable fireplaces as well
as great mountaintop views!
There are three other buildings harmonizing with the main Inn. Little Echo is a motel type facility with eight large rooms and three apartments. The former owner’s quarters has been transformed into the RTF International Training Center with four large ministry/training rooms, offices, mentoring room, and a library. This building received much of the early renovation work and is essentially completed. The fourth building has been converted into offices for now.
A number of seasoned Healing House Network (HHN) ministry teams/trainers have also moved to Hendersonville to further the vision of the training center as well as their personal ministry.
First Training
Modules and Conferences
A few short weeks after the purchase was completed, on August 1st,
the first group of 30 trainees arrived. Included were students from seven
different nations. God’s word to us that this would be an international
training center has truly come to pass! It was a thrill teaching and
training these eager, on-fire people. God’s anointing to heal was very evident,
as many received profound healings and deliverance even during the “practice”
times.
In October, at our yearly RTF Advanced Conference, we were truly blessed as many of the Healing House Network teams came and celebrated God’s goodness with us. On Friday evening we all experienced the powerful presence of the Lord as Bishop Bill Hamon dedicated Echo Mountain Inn as the RTF International Training Center to fulfill destiny.
Our new Inn staff members are quickly maturing in their abilities to run the Inn both as a training center and as a bed and breakfast. As the daily details come into line, we anticipate being able to begin traveling again. We look forward to visiting our many friends and churches.
We hope all of you who have been touched by this ministry will come see us for a restful visit or to receive further ministry training. (People love coming here for family vacations and reunions! We are beginning to have church groups scheduling their meetings and retreats here as well.)
We are planning to teach all three training modules two different times each year. The next round of training modules begins January 23rd. You may check the website, www.RTFTrainingCenter.org, or call us, for more details. By the way, RTF training will continue to be offered within local churches; however, the ITC offers a unique opportunity for those called to this ministry to accelerate their training. They will be enabled to operate at their potential in a much shorter time than is possible in the local church. And churches, get excited. You now have a resource to quickly get a RTF ministry program up and running.
Being a Partner
One of our great blessings is that so many of you have partnered with us in the
vision as we have grown from a “Mom and Pop” ministry to a network of over 100
Healing House Network qualified ministers along with many local church RTF
ministers. We are so appreciative of the much wider impact you have helped us
have. If you have not yet joined with us in helping to prepare the bride
(without spot or wrinkle for the coming of the Lord), would you consider doing
so as you pray about your year-end giving? Your contribution will be a great
help to us as we continue to expand, update, and equip this ministry center to
more fully serve its purpose, equipping the saints for the work of the
ministry. Here are the things on our hearts. We hope one or more of these also
will be on your heart.
Ø We would like to pay off the mortgage on Echo Mountain Inn as rapidly as possible. This will allow us to reduce even further the lodging cost for those coming for training. Many of you have already partnered with us and provided over $300,000 to cover the down-payment and many of the startup costs. It will be a great blessing to pay off the $1,100,000 mortgage in two to three years. Would you like to help us with this?
Ø We are in great need of a top-level administrator/manager to help us manage three ministries and the Inn. Would you consider joining to help fund this position for a year?
Ø We have a BIG heart to provide scholarships for needy students, especially those from third world nations. We were blessed to be able to provide one full and two partial scholarships for three international students for the training this fall. Would you like to help fund the taking of Restoring the Foundation Ministry to other nations?
Ø We are ready to start renovating Little Echo. It was originally built for summer use only. We are “winterizing” it for year-round lodging for students (of all ages). We are installing new windows, insulation, kitchenettes, gas heat, sound proofing, internet access, etc. Would you like to help us bring the facility to a year-round use condition?
Ø We are refurnishing the ITC ministry rooms. We were able to find enough couches, chairs, lamps, etc., to function, but would you like to help us with better (and matching) furnishing?
Ø Besides these larger items, there is the usual updating of office and student computers, upgrading the Inn guest rooms (a number of people and churches have already “adopted” a room and are helping us redecorate them), landscaping improvements, exterior painting for the backsides of three building, etc. Perhaps you would like to contribute to one of these, or even form a work crew from your church and come do this work yourself.
Well, that is quite a shopping list. And yet, when we look back over the last five months and see what God has already done, the items on the list do not seem so large. As the Word says, “With God, all things are possible! We would add, “With partners like you, God can do even more!” Thank you for your love and ongoing support. You are a vital and very appreciated part of this ministry. We truly could not do this without you.
With much love,
Chester and Betsy Kylstra
